Wild orchids! Medicinal plants! Mushrooms! Unless you are out with a guide, you may never know what you are walking past on our trails! Surrounding the Lund and Powell River area, there’s a fantastic network of volunteer-built trails, some of which follow old logging roads and railway beds from 100 plus years ago.
Sunshine Coast Trail Day Explorer 6 – 7 hours, $99 pp
This day tour allows us to explore some of the loops and routes on the Sunshine Coast Trail, often with a specific vista or cabin as a destination. As much as possible we will try to gauge your interests and abilities and pick routes that will suit you. Examples of day hike destinations include the Wednesday Lake / Manzanita Hut loop, Appleton Canyon with its gorgeous falls, or Rieveley’s Pond on the northern sections of the trail. Includes snacks and picnic lunch, guide and depending on group size and which trail, transport to trailhead.
